SOLUTION
Cakewalk is the name of the brand and the name of the box in the new packaging. It is a reference to the phrase “it was a cakewalk,” and also to the cakewalk carnival game. The design has a handle for easy transport, solving one of the most pressing problems with the current packaging style. The box unfolds completely flat so that cakes can be cut without having to remove it from the box. The design is playful and eye-catching to make it stand out from the standard plastic cake dome.
