SOLUTION
The Picture of Dorian Gray, Black Beauty, Treasure Island and Wuthering Heights were grouped together to create “Memes for a Man’s Life,” a book series targeting young adult males that want to be men but still act like boys. These books were selected for the scenarios that the male characters had to deal with and how they let negative traits and behavior lead them into situations they would regret. Since it wasn’t likely that young men would volunteer to read books that would secretly try to make them better people, the covers were designed to draw in the audience with something they were already familiar with: Internet memes. A humorous approach allowed for a teasing, sarcastic tone while still covering serious topics like apathy, anger, greed, and vanity.
